We finally have a blog

Hi! I have had good intentions of setting up a blog for FHE for a couple of weeks. But, it never happened. So finally here it is. I guess we will start updating everyone of what is happening in our household.

Corey: He works, sleeps alittle, works, sleeps alittle and goes to school. It seems like he is never home since he sleeps during the day and then on his day's off he goes to school. We are still waiting to hear what is happening with his job. Hopefully we will find out real soon just to ease the stress we have.

Gina: I guess I have finally become a taxi mom you hear other moms talk about. Aly is in softball and has games 2 nights a week and the other two nights are practices. I can't even imagine what it would be like if I had more than one kid in sports. Then I did the crazy thing and said I would be team mom. It was ok for boy sports, but boy are girls another thing. They are so high mantiance! You have to sit in the dugout with them at games, stay at practices, make all the phone calls, etc. I don't think I will be offering to do this again anytime soon. Other than that, I am just doing the mom thing at home!

Alec: Alec is in 8th grade and doing really good this year. He is in yearbook and really likes it. He also might be in the school's jazz band playing the drums. You may reconize Alec now, since he did get his hair cut last weekend. I thought for sure he would complain how he got it cut but he hasn't said one word. He got a missionary hair cut. He looks so different and so cute. Alec is a life in scouts and is working on his eagle project. I wish I could take the credit to get him there, but he has actually had GREAT scout leaders. I just got him to scouts and back.

Austin: Austin started JR. High. He is in a class with different disabilities. There are 7 kids, a teacher and 2 aids. He loves getting on the school bus every morning. This year he has a long day. He gets on the bus at 7:40 and gets home at 4:00. He doesn't complain about it. We have had a rough couple of weeks with his seazures. He now has to wear his helment at home all the time. He is hurting himself to much. At school he gets to go out in the community to learn how to act, buy things, etc. He goes to the grocrey store, target, walmart, the mall and bowling. He goes twice a week. He really enjoys it. I was able to go with him last year and he thinks he is real cool.

Aly: She is our busy girl. She is in 2nd grade, plays softbal 4 days a week and still has time to play and fight with her big brother. She is doing really good in school. On her softball team she plays outfield. She love to get up to bat. She actually hit the ball 1 time, but has gotten on base many but walking. It is so cute, when she gets on 3rd base and the batter is walked and she walks home she LOVES to slide in to home plate. She was busy being a beautiful flowergirl at a wedding a month ago. Alec took some beautiful pictures. They really look professional. We will post them so you can see.

Atalie: We cant believe how big she is getting. She is so fun and easy going. She is scooting around everywhere. About a month ago she cut 4 teeth and just tonight, I noticed that she has cut another 2 teeth on top. We don't want her to grow up yet. We are enjoying having a baby around the house, since it has been so long. Everyone still says she looks just like Aly but I think it is Alec she looks more like.

Well the is a brief update. We will keep you posted on everything as it happens!
